Als na het starten van het fondantklopproces de rotormotor dreigt te stoppen door overbelasting, stopt de suikertoevoer automatisch en wordt de machine gespoeld. Het spoelwater wordt door een pneumatisch gestuurde klep naar de afvoer gestuurd. Zodra de overbelasting (amp\u00e8remeter) is opgelost, wordt de productie van fondant automatisch hervat.
