De kernvulling kan een poeder of een semi-vloeibare vloeistof zijn. De lijn kan beginnen met een snoepkeuken gevolgd door een kneder, een extruder, een balvormmachine en koeltunnel, gevolgd door bijvoorbeeld coatingpannen en flow wrappers voor de primaire verpakking. Carugil is in staat om complete turn key balvormsystemen te leveren, inclusief upstream mixers en kookapparatuur. Deze lijnen kunnen een capaciteit hebben tot 380.000 producten per uur.
