It is a horizontal loading and feeding unit which is installed at the outfeed end of production lines.\u00a0 Its function is to group products which are lying flat into piles and to transfer the piles into the infeed flights of the flowrapping machine(s). This pile feeder gently creates the piles in variable heights, varying from a single layer up to the maximum stable height. Products to be handled are typically biscuits, crackers, sandwich biscuits, toast slices or cracker breads.\u00a0 The top of the range four-axis horizonal feeding unit is powered by 4 servomotors.\u00a0 This version allows the stack height to be adjusted while the machine is running without interruption.
