This premix installation is used for dissolving and premixing of ingredients such as sugar, water, glucose and other in order to prepare the batch for cooking. This installation is a combination of two mixing vessels. The first and upper one is serving as a premixer, generally used to dissolve solid ingredients into water and to stagewise (pre)mix these with other ingredients. The second mixer is then used to mix this further so that the mixed batch is now ready to be cooked. The mixing vessels are double walled and executed in stainles steel suitable for a low pressure steam of 3 bar maximum. They are supplied with a tip-up lid and a two-speed Speedmix of 2,2-3 kW at 1500-3000 rpm. Thermometers are fit through the wall, with a manually controlled butterfly valve DN 40 drain fit into the bottom.* The tanks are supported by three legs. The vessels with short pipe work are connected with couplings, according to DIN 11851.
Capacity range: from 1.000 to 5.000 kg/hr.
