The automatic roll feeder belongs to the category of  handling feeding systems. It is installed between the outfeed end of a production line and the packaging / flowpack machine.
It receives the product and feeds it to the flowpackmachine in the required count and pack size. The Unit has a certain number of product hoppers, designed for the product’s specific shape and the needed output speed. Each hopper has a release flap and the pack count is determined by detection photocells. Conveyors with stainless steel carriers pass in front of the photocells and count the correct number of products to go into into each product hopper.
